ANA Blue Base: Facility Tour Video
Lobby and Lounge on the 3rd floor
In our dedicated photo area, you will find interactive displays related to the different roles seen on the tour. Sit in a realistic replica cockpit, touch real airplane tires, and try on a cabin attendant's apron!
Ground Staff Training Area
It contains check-in counters that are actually used at airports. Trainees are split into two roles, ground staff and passengers, and training is carried out on ticketing, weighing and checking in baggage, and other operations.
Ground Staff
We guide passengers to the aircraft safely and comfortably to ensure an on-time departure. We handle tasks such as check-in procedures and checking in baggage.
Cabin Attendant Training Area
A Cabin Emergency Evacuation Trainer (CEET), the first of its kind in Japan, is installed to realistically recreate turbulence during flight. Trainees are trained to keep everyone safe by acting calmly in the event of sudden turbulence.
Cabin Attendants
Cabin attendants have two roles: As "security personnel" who ensure passengers arrive at their destinations safely, and as "service personnel" who provide services to ensure a pleasant journey on board.
Cargo Staff Training Area
Trainees are trained to use forklifts to load and unload containers and pallets, pieces of aircraft equipment used to carry cargo.
Cargo Staff
They are responsible for the transportation of various types of cargo. Their ultimate mission is to handle cargo safely and securely.
Ground Handling Staff
Operations include loading and unloading cargo onto/from an aircraft, guiding the aircraft to stop accurately, and transferring the aircraft to a hangar or terminal.
Maintenance Staff Training Area
Training is conducted using parts that were used in real life. Engines from B787 and B767 aircraft, parts cut out from wings, and a portion of the cargo compartment floor are showcased.
Maintenance Staff
Aviation mechanics inspect, maintain and repair aircraft with specific expertise and technology, ensuring they can fly safely.
Lobby and Lounge on the 1st floor
After checking in, we invite you to enjoy a range of exclusive content in our lounge. Features include an AR Photo experience where you can virtually try on the uniforms of various professions, and an interactive touch panel showcasing our staff at work in and around the aircraft. Additionally, a large screen presentation chronicles the history and journey of the ANA Group.
Pilot Training Area
You will see the Full Flight Simulator, training equipment. Trainees will be trained using flight simulators, allowing them to experience various recreated scenarios such as bad weather conditions and mechanical issues.
Pilots
As professionals with the responsibility to ensure passenger safety, pilots bring passengers and cargo to their destinations safely, on time and comfortably.
