ANA is the first airline in Japan to use an autonomous bus to transport employees at Haneda Airport
- 1) ANA conducted a test of an electric autonomous bus at Haneda Airport from Feb. 1 - 12, becoming the first airline in Japan to use this technology within the restricted area of an airport.
- 2) The eco-friendly autonomous bus is powered by electricity instead of gasoline, reducing their carbon footprint as they transport employees around Terminal 2 at Haneda Airport.
- 3) ANA is working towards utilizing this autonomous bus technology with passengers in 2021, and to implement driverless bus technology at the airport by 2025 as we develop the "Simple & Smart" airport of the future.
