ANA Group Announces Revised Flight Schedule
for the Second Half of FY2022


  • ・For domestic routes, ANA and Peach together plan to operate number of flights at the same level as planned at the beginning of fiscal 2020 before the COVID-19 pandemic, in response to recovering demand.
  • ・For international routes, the ANA Group will continue to closely monitor border measures in countries and will proactively increase flights based on demand trend.
  • ・ANA will cater to continued strong cargo demand by maximizing the operation of freighters, as well as by flexibly utilizing additional charter and interim flights.

TOKYO, Aug. 23, 2022 - ANA HOLDINGS INC. (hereinafter "ANA HD") announced its revised flight schedule for second half of fiscal year 2022 (FY2022).

Despite the ongoing impact of COVID-19, ANA announced operation of all domestic flights to/from Tokyo Haneda airport in July 2022 for the first time since March 2020 (except during peak season), and for international flights ANA has continued to increase flights in response to recovering demand and the easing of country entry restrictions. Peach Aviation Limited (hereinafter "Peach") plans resumption of operations on three international routes, beginning with the Kansai = Seoul route. In response to strong demand for international cargo operations, ANA has actively operated cargo flights, utilizing freighters as well as passenger aircraft to meet the needs of customers.

As the demand for both domestic and international flights continue to recover, ANA Group will actively pursue opportunities to increase flights as well as to utilize larger aircraft.

The key points for the second half of FY2022 are as follows:

Domestic Routes

  • ・To optimize the group network with Peach, ANA will operate the Sendai = Okinawa route on a daily basis, which is currently operated by Peach. Additionally, all Peach domestic flights will be available for purchase via ANA's Japan domestic flights website starting in October*1.
  • ・For routes to/from Tokyo Narita airport, ANA will resume Narita = Itami and Chubu (Nagoya) routes in anticipation of recovery in transit demand with international flights.
  • ・From end of October, ANA will begin code-sharing on flights operated by Amakusa Airlines and Japan Air Commuter*2, offering customers more flight choices under the ANA flight number while enabling a comprehensive network that goes beyond individual airlines.

  • *3: The number of flights for the current service are according to the fiscal year 2022 flight schedule. The actual number of flights may differ based on flight reductions due to COVID-19.
  • *4: For Dec. 9 and 11, the frequency will be 1.5 roundtrips/day. For Dec. 10, the frequency will be 2 roundtrips/day.
  • *5: For Dec. 9 and 11, the frequency will be 5.5 roundtrips/day. For Dec. 10, 28-31, Jan. 2-4, Mar. 17-25, the frequency will be 5 roundtrips/day.
  • *6: For Dec. 28-31, Jan. 2-4, the frequency will be 9 roundtrips/day.
  • *7: For Mar. 17-25, the frequency will be 4 roundtrips/day.
  • *8: For Oct. 31, Nov. 1,3-6,18, Dec. 4-5, 23-31, Jan. 1-4, Mar. 18-25, the frequency will be 4 roundtrips/day.
  • *9: For Jan. 18-20; Feb. 2, the frequency will be 4 roundtrips/day.

International Routes

  • ・In response to recovering demand for international flights, ANA expects to operate additional flights and will announce route-by-route details on August 30.
  • ・To provide customers with more information and to allow for earlier travel preparations, the suspension or reduction of select routes have been determined in advance as follows.

Freighter Routes

  • ・Based on demand trends and market environment, ANA plans to operate scheduled freighter flights as follows.
  • ・Expecting strong cargo demand to continue, ANA will maintain the current freighter network and offer additional charter flights and interim flights, as well as utilizing passenger aircraft for cargo operations.
  • ・Details on the flight schedule including cargo flights using passenger aircraft will continue to be announced monthly.

  • *1: The number of flights for the current service are according to the fiscal year 2022 flight schedule, therefore the actual number of flights may differ.
  • *2: In addition to the above flights, non-scheduled and/or charter flights are expected to be added.

Peach

  • ・Peach will resume flights on international routes to meet the expected recovery in demand. Haneda = Seoul route will resume on October 30, and the Kansai = Seoul route which will resume operation on August 28 will increase to two roundtrips per day. In addition, Peach will proactively seek opportunities to further resume international routes that have been suspended due to COVID-19 as well as to launch new routes.*1
  • ・To optimize aircraft utilization between domestic and international routes, some domestic routes will be suspended, reduced or operated seasonally.

  • *6: ANA plans to increase the number of flights on this route.
  • *7: For Oct. 30-31, Nov. 1-30, Dec. 1-31, Jan. 1-31 the frequency will be 1 roundtrip/day.
  • *8: For Mon., Wed. and Sat. on Oct. 30-31; Nov. 1-30, Dec. 1-31, Jan. 1-31, Feb. 1-11 the frequency will be 1roundtrip/day. For Feb. 12-28, Mar. 1-25 the frequency will be 1 roundtrip/day.
