Achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Worldwide - Raising awareness and promoting understanding of
ANA Group's efforts in SDGs
Have you recently noticed seeing the 17 colorful icons and the term “SDGs” more often?
SDGs stands for Sustainable Development Goals. Adopted by the United Nations in 2015 to achieve a sustainable society on a global level, the 193 member states have set common goals to be achieved by 2030.
In line with the first SDG Summit to be held in New York in September 2019, the ANA Group also implemented the following initiatives.
Cabin attendants and airport staff(*) will wear SDGs badges to help raise broader awareness about SDGs with ANA customers during September 15-30, 2019.
Also, from September 1 to October 31, 2019, a special SDGs Channel will show videos on international flights. Content will include the first SDGs Creative Award ceremony and award-winning works to help promote SDGs.
The October issue of the in-flight magazine ”TSUBASA” will feature ANA Group’s SDGs initiatives. We hope you have a chance to read it.
The ANA Group will continue our contribution to achieving SDGs and creating a brighter future through activities in various fields.
* Airport staff at Haneda and Narita Airports will wear the badges.
