New "Assistance Information Registration Service” Launched for Customers with Special Needs for a Smoother Reservations Process!

On July 1, ANA launched a service that saves information for customers who need special assistance when flying, providing them peace of mind and a stress-free experience.

Until now, customers such as those who use wheelchairs, had to request for assistance every time they made a flight reservation. From now on, that information can be registered and confirmed in advance in the customer’s ANA Mileage Club member profile, making for a trouble-free and smoother reservation process.

Types of Information You Can Register

      • Walking ability
      • Information on wheelchair to be checked in (manual, electric, foldable or non-foldable, batteries, size)
      • Visual or hearing impairments
      • Medical devices to be used on board the aircraft
      • Assistive equipment to be loaned requiring special arrangements
      • Assistance required at the airport and on board the aircraft etc.

After registering, some of the information such as walking ability and wheelchair information, will be displayed on the ANA website when making reservations for international flights.

We are working on making the information link automatically to domestic flight reservations as well.

Advance registration as an ANA Mileage Club member is required for this service.
